Marine Loading Arms (MLAs) are essential for transferring various fluids such as oil, chemicals, LPG, and LNG between ships and storage facilities. Typical features and benefits include:
Emergency Release Coupler (ERC): Installed at the vertical part of the triple swivel assembly to separate the MLA from the tank ship in case of fire, typhoons, or ship drift, preventing major damage and pollution.
Quick Connect/Disconnect Coupler (QCDC): Provides a means to quickly connect/disconnect the MLA to/from the tanker manifold without bolts or nuts, saving manpower and time.
Electro-hydraulic Control System: Includes Local Control Panel (LCP), Wired/Wireless Pendent, and Hydraulic Power Pack (HPP). PLC-controlled for easy maintenance and real-time monitoring.
