Marine Loading Arms (MLAs) are essential for transferring various fluids such as oil, chemicals, LPG, and LNG between ships and storage facilities. Our systems are engineered for high performance in demanding marine environments.
Designed to handle large volumes of fluids efficiently, reducing loading and unloading times for large-scale operations.
Incorporates advanced safety features like Emergency Release Systems (ERS) and Quick Connect/Disconnect Couplers (QC/DC).
Constructed from robust materials to withstand harsh marine environments, ensuring a long lifespan.
Modern designs with zero-emission technologies to minimize environmental impact during transfer.
Emergency Release Coupler (ERC): Installed at the triple swivel assembly to separate the MLA from the tank ship during emergencies such as fire, typhoons, or ship drift, preventing major damage and pollution.
Quick Connect/Disconnect Coupler (QCDC): Provides a fast means to connect/disconnect the MLA to the tanker flange without bolts or nuts, saving significant manpower and time.
Electro-hydraulic Control System: Includes LCP, HPP, and PLC-based controls. Allows remote operation and real-time monitoring of MLA status and alarms.
| Typical Structure | Features & Application |
|---|---|
| AM61M | Manual operation, double counterweight. Small dead weight. For inland river/small jetties (< 8"). |
| AM63M | Manual operation, rotary counterweight. Easy seal change. For inland river/small jetties (< 10"). |
| AM63H | Electro-hydraulic, rotary counterweight. Supports ERC/HQCDC. For inland and sea jetties (up to 16"). |
| AM64H | Electro-hydraulic. Includes liquid and vapor lines. For inland and sea jetties (16" liquid + 8" vapor). |
Essential for loading/unloading crude oil, refined products, and chemicals from storage tanks to tankers with secure transfer systems.
Highly flexible arms designed to accommodate vessel movements in harbors, rivers, and offshore locations.
