The general description for marine loading arm:
Marine loading arm is specialized equipment for loading/unloading fluid materials crossing over the jetty and tanker, with swivel joints connecting pipelines, assisted by a supporting structure, including control systems as required.
Currently, the marine loading/unloading arms feature structural forms in series such as AM61, AM62, AM63, and AM64. Based on the physical and chemical features and temperature of the transmission medium, these arms can be designed in various materials including carbon steel and stainless steel.
Temperature ranges cover -196~250ºC, with a maximum design pressure of 10Mpa and nominal pipe sizes from DN80 to DN600 (3"~24"). Operating modes include manual or electro-hydraulic control. The arm moves with the tanker within normal drift ranges and can be equipped with visual sound alarms through travel monitoring systems.
