Marine Loading Arm AM64 Structure
General Description
Marine loading arm is specialized equipment for loading and unloading fluid materials crossing over the jetty and tanker. It features swivel joints connecting pipelines, supported by a robust structure and equipped with essential control systems.
Key Features:
✓Wide Temperature Range: Designed to withstand temperatures from -196ºC to 250ºC.
✓Versatile Materials: Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and heat tracing pipe forms.
✓High Pressure: Maximum design pressure up to 10Mpa with nominal pipe sizes from DN80 to DN600.
✓Advanced Control: Available in manual or electro-hydraulic control modes.
The system can move with the tanker within the normal drift range. For safety, it is equipped with a visual sound alarm device via a travel monitoring system that alerts operators if the tank drifts beyond specified limits.

AM62 Structure Features
In this model, a part of the product pipe provides support, but the majority of weight and loads are handled by an independent body or auxiliary supporting organizations. Both inner and outer arms share a unified counterweight system. This mixed mode support for single-tube loading arms is compactly structured and highly suitable for large-tonnage vessels.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are the marine loading arms made of?
The arms are typically constructed from high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on the physical and chemical features of the transmission medium.
What is the range of working temperatures and pressures?
Our marine loading arms are designed to handle temperatures ranging from -196ºC to 250ºC and can support a maximum design pressure of 10Mpa.
Which types of media can be transported?
The equipment is versatile and suitable for loading and unloading solid, liquid, and gaseous fluid materials.
How is the anti-corrosion treatment handled?
We use a strict multi-layer coating process including Sa2.5 grade shot blasting, epoxy zinc rich primer, MIO epoxy intermediate coat, and chlorinated rubber finish paint.
Does the arm support automatic operation?
Yes, the operating mode can be designed for either manual or electro-hydraulic control based on the specific dimension, model, and customer requirements.
Is there a safety system for tanker movement?
Yes, the system includes a travel monitoring system with a visual sound alarm that triggers if the tanker drifts beyond the specified operating scope.
