The WTL-A100 N Load moment indicator is composed of sensor, operational amplifier, control actuator and overload indicator, etc. It integrates display, control, and warning into a single unit. When the crane lifts a load, the sensor detects deformation and converts the weight of the load into an electrical signal. After processing, the system indicates the weight value. When the load reaches 90% of the rating, it triggers an alarm; if the weight surpasses the rating, the power is disconnected immediately. It is widely used in overhead traveling cranes, elevators, and portal/tower cranes.
The Load Moment Indicator (safe load indicator) is an essential safety device installed on various cranes including mobile, crawler, tower, gantry, and offshore cranes. It alerts the operator if the lift exceeds the safe operating range and can physically lock out machinery in unsafe circumstances.
