WTL-A100 N Load moment indicator is composed of a sensor, operational amplifier, control actuator, and overload indicator. It integrates three functions into one unit: display, control, and warning.
When the crane lifts a load, the sensor detects deformation and converts the load weight into an electrical signal. After processing and amplification, the system indicates the weight value. When the load reaches 90% of the rated capacity, an alarm sounds. If the weight exceeds the rating, the power is immediately cut off. This system is widely used in overhead traveling cranes, elevators, and portal or tower cranes.
The Safe Load Indicator (SLI/LMI/RCI) alerts the operator if the lift exceeds the safe operating range. In certain scenarios, the device will physically lock out the machinery to prevent unsafe operations, ensuring equipment functions according to the manufacturer's suggested safe load charts. Measured parameters such as load weight, working radius, control limits, angle, and boom extension are displayed in the operator's cabin.
